MAC Collective Haul
I bought a few MAC items over the last couple of months and decided to do a combined haul. I started out with the Disney Venemous Villains Collection. I only got a couple of things, even though it was hard to resist with the awesome packaging! We were going on vacation to Disney World so I had to refrain from going crazy and buying everything! I also picked up a couple of foundations from the Pro Long Wear line, Two items from A Tartan Tale, Fix + and MSF in Dark. I will do some swatches and review the Magically Cool powder and Pro Longwear Foundation in a later post.
Swatches and reviews to follow!

Review: Maybelline Falsies Mascara
I’m a mascara junkie! I’m always on the look out for the next best thing, as I’m sure most of you are. In the not so recent past my HG mascaras have been Dior Show Blackout, Givenchy, CG lashblast, and most recently Loreal Voluminous (LOVE IT!) So recently, I have been tempted by the new Maybelline Falsies’ ads. Even though I know I shouldn’t, since all mascara advertisements and commercials are so over the top that no matter what you do, you’re lashes will never be as full and long as they show. But I couldn’t help myself and had to try it when I was at my local Target and saw it on sale for $5! Plus, I always try to use coupons and it so happened that I had one for $2 off. So you can’t beat $3 for a mascara!
The Maybelline website states
I have to say that it does seem to make them longer. I went to my doctor today and she actually made a comment about how long my lashes were! As for the volume, I was expecting a bit more. 300% more lashes? Not really. So will the new Maybelline Falsies replace my beloved Loreal Voluminous……. I don’t think it will. Overall I think it is a great mascara! I do like the packaging, purple and teal, great combo! It does catch your eye when your strolling the cosmetic isles! You cant beat the price and it did actually work better than some of the other high end mascaras I’ve used. But I don’t think it lives up to the ads or what the website says.
